UFC on ESPN : Poirier vs Hooker Odds and Predictions
UFC has settled and bounced back from the global pandemic. Next month, Fight Island will be live and prior to that joy, UFC will end June with UFC on ESPN featuring Dustin Poirier and Dan Hooker as the main event. A fight between Mike Perry and Mickey Gall will serve as the co-headliner. Without further talk, Let's move onto the Predictions and Odds section.
Dustin Poirier vs Dan Hooker
The Diamond Dustin Poirier will return to UFC after a gap of almost nine months and in his returning match, Dustin Poirier is scheduled to face Dan Hooker in a lightweight bout.
Dustin Poirier Poirier gained the hands-on Interim Lightweight Championship last year by defeating Max Holloway and he wasn't able to make it against Khabib Nurmagomedov in the Unifier bout.
Dustin Poirier fought his ass off against the Eagle. But, He was unable to dethrone the undefeated. The Diamond who stands at three in lightweight rankings is clearly aiming for a rematch, and facing the Hangman would be like training for him.
On the other hand, Dan Hooker also has a good resume standing at fifth place in the lightweight rankings. Dan Hooker also seems to be in the best shape ever after his three consecutive victories over Paul Felder, Al Iaquinta, and James Vick respectively.
But, Neither Dan Hooker's resume nor his skills will save him from destiny i.e. lose to Dustin Poirier.
Winner : Dustin Poirier
Odds : Dustin Poirier (-220), Dan Hooker (+180)
Mike Perry vs Mickey Gall
The co-headliner of UFC on ESPN Poirier vs Hooker will feature a welterweight match between Mike Perry and Mickey Gall.
Mike Perry is undergoing some booms and depressions in his professional career. Two of his last matches didn't favor him. His recent loss came at UFC 245 in the form of Geoff Neal following Vicente Luque.
Mickey Gall's resume is also almost the same. But, The thing which differs is, he is coming off with a victory in his last fight.
Both guys are of equal skills but Mike Perry's aggressive nature may overthrow Gall's strong style. The platinum definitely likes to tear his opponents down which may happen in this match too.
Winner: Mike Perry
Odds: Mike Perry (-340), Mickey Gall (+270)
Brendan Allen vs Kyle Daukaus
Brendan Allen who is coming off a six-fight win streak will face Kyle Daukaus in a middleweight bout. On the other hand, Kyle Daukaus is undefeated in the octagon which makes us not underestimate him.
Kyle Daukaus, who is more superior to Brendan Allen has high punching accuracy than the former which makes him the favorite to win this fight even when the odds are against him.
Winner: Kyle Daukaus
Odds : Brendan Allen (-300), Kyle Daukaus (+240)
Maurice Greene vs Gian Villante
The crochet boss will fight Gian Villante in a heavyweight bout.
Maurice Greene's career didn't roll well and he recently suffered two back to back losses. While Gian Villante is facing some ups and downs, noting his previous loss to Michal Oleksiejczuk.
Despite the resume records, the crochet boss who is four inches taller than Gian Villante may wreak havoc in the octagon.
Winner: Maurice Greene
Odds: Maurice Greene (-220), Gian Villante (+180)
Philipe Lins vs Tanner Boser
The 6'2" Monstro Philipe Lins will face the bulldozer, Tanner Boser, in another heavyweight bout of the Night.
In every aspect, Philipe Lins has an upper hand over Tanner Boser. Lins' quickness in the octagon may be a big trouble to the bulldozer defense.
Winner: Philipe Lins
Odds: Philipe Lins (-110), Tanner Boser (-110)
Sean Woodson vs Julian Erosa
The first main event card of the fight night will feature a catchweight match between Sean Woodson and Julian Erosa.
The juicy j has a higher profile and hitting rates than Sean Woodson. He also holds a good grip on grappling. But, will the skills and experience bow down to the undefeated one? Maybe yes. We may see the first loss of Sean Woodson when the night starts.
