Former two division champ, Conor McGregor announces his retirement
Things are going from bad to worse in the UFC. Recently after his match at UFC 249, Henry Cejudo announced his retirement. Later, Jon Jones requested the UFC to release him and announced that he would relinquish his light heavyweight championship.
Then, Jorge Masvidal joined Jon Jones in blasting UFC. Now, The things went up worse went Conor McGregor announced his retirement from the sport.
Dana White and Jon Jones recently engaged in a word fight which led Jon Jones to relinquish his light heavyweight championship. This word fight began when Jon Bones Jones claimed that UFC was not interested in paying him a higher amount for the super fight before even discussing the amount.
Dana White wasn't pleased with that statement and claimed that Jon Jones demanded an absurd amount. Dana White said they are not willing to pay that absurd amount in these worse times.
Jon Jones accused Dana White for lying to the loyal fans about the exact situation and Dana White responded to it by willing to take a lie-detecting test. Later, Jon Jones claimed that he gets quarter of Diante Wilder and asked UFC a 15 millions which is half of Diante Wilder pay.
Prior to UFC 250, Jorge Masvidal blasted UFC for paying him less. Jorge Masvidal used twitter to express his frustrations on UFC. For a few weeks, the Gamebred was rumoured to face Kamaru Usman for UFC welterweight championship which later ended in disappointment to Masvidal.
Jorge Masvidal was upset with UFC and requested the officials to let him go if he is not worth it. Jorge Masvidal questioned on why to let him fight for half of what he made in his last fight cause the other dude can’t draw.
Jorge Masvidal added not to tell him about the global pandemic when reports showed the highest stock market has ever been. Jorge Masvidal also fired on UFC for making silly excuses when everyone is out and doing the work. Jorge Masvidal slammed UFC on purchasing an island but not properly paying the fighters.
The Notorious, Conor McGregor McGregor joined this party. But, Unlike the rest, Conor McGregor didn't oppose his boss or the company.
Conor McGregor simply engaged in twitter by saying that he is retiring. This is not the first time by McGregor. Former two division champ has announced his retirement years ago which is still in pending.
Hours after UFC 250, Conor McGregor wrote on Twitter that he decided to retire from fighting. McGregor thanked for all those amazing memories and said it's a best ride. Conor McGregor used a picture of his mother in this tweet.
This sudden tweet caught the attention of many fans. But, In a negative way. Most of the UFC universe didn't believe this statement made by the notorious.
The Boss, Dana White responded to the current situations at UFC 250 post press conference. Dana White reminded everyone that they are in pandemic right now. Dana White said that the world is a crazy place right now with all these things that are going on.
Dana White thinks people are crazy right now and added that there are no fans. Dana White also thinks that everybody is pissed off, confused and has been locked up in their houses for three-and-a-half months.
