"I wanted to lose" Roman Reigns speaks about his match with Undertaker

"With all due respect, This is my yard now" No one can forget this line spoken by the Big Dog. Roman Reigns defeated The Undertaker at WrestleMania 33 and entered the history books to be the second man to take down the Phenom at Wrestlemania.

But Roman Reigns didn't want to win that match. In one of his interviews, Roman Reigns spoke about his work time with The Undertaker. Roman Reigns also explained the way he got the dream match against The Phenom.

Roman Reigns eliminated Undertaker at Royal Rumble prior to Wrestlemania 33 and The Big Dog didn't expect that feud to continue. Roman Reigns explained that he didn't know that he would face Undertaker at the greatest show of all time.

Roman Reigns said that he came to know about it after Vince broke the news. Roman Reigns also said that even Undertaker kept it as a secret. When the Big Dog came to know about his opponent, He was excited.

Roman Reigns revealed that his first thought after hearing the news is to lose to the Phenom at Wrestlemania which didn't happen.

Roman Reigns recalled his conversation with Vince McMahon where Vince shocked Roman Reigns. Roman Reigns said that it is the dream match everyone wanted in the business and it caught Roman Reigns.

"I wanted to lose," Roman Reigns said this was his first thought after hearing the news that he would face the Undertaker. Roman Reigns said that was an instinct reaction with all do respect. .

Roman Reigns wanted to craft the story in a different way which couldn't happen. Roman Reigns definitely wants to share the ring with the Undertaker again which could happen at a later time.

The Big Dog Roman Reigns is currently out of action due to the ongoing global pandemic. Roman Reigns was scheduled to face the legendary Goldberg at WrestleMania 36 for the universal championship which was later scrapped.

Roman Reigns was replaced by the monster amongst men, Braun Strowman. Braun Strowman defeated the icon, surviving four Spears and unleashing four thunderous power slams.

Regarding the Dead Man, Undertaker recently faced the Phenomenal AJ Styles at Wrestlemania. The Phenom defeated the Phenomenal at the show of shows. This match is the greatest wrestling match ever in the global pandemic.
