Drew McIntyre names a dozen of superstars that he would like to face
WWE Champion Drew McIntyre is reaching a new level of height after defending his WWE Championship against Bobby Lashley at Backlash.
Drew McIntyre earned the gold by slaying the beast at Wrestlemania. The Scottish Psychopath then defended the championship against top superstars of industry like BigShow, Seth Rollins and now Bobby Lashley is added to the claymore party.
But, These superstars didn't seem to fill the thirst of WWE Champion and recently the WWE champion himself named his wishlist containing a dozen of top superstars of the industry.
As earlier mentioned, AJ Styles is his top choice. McIntyre said that they are two ships in the night. Drew McIntyre never faced AJ Styles in a singles match and he loves to go one on one with the Intercontinental champion.
The next on Drew McIntyre's wishlist is Celtic Warrior Sheamus. Drew McIntyre and Sheamus were faces of Europe during their initial professional life and Drew McIntyre is willing to bring that feud back. Drew McIntyre and Sheamus are close friends and their feud is always named as Brogue kick vs Claymore kick.
Then the Scottish Psychopath named his another close friend, Jinder Mahal. Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre were part of the 3MB faction and they knew each other for a long time. Professional life is always first than personal life and Drew McIntyre is always ready to defend his WWE Championship against The Modern day Maharaja.
The next on Drew McIntyre's wishlist is former WWE Champion, Kofi Kingston. Kofi Kingston built Kofimania and defeated Daniel Bryan to achieve his dream. But, The fairytale ended when Kofi lost the championship to Brock Lesnar. Kofi didn't get a rematch since then and Drew McIntyre is willing to lend his hands.
Kofi Kingston and Drew McIntyre were great rivals during a decade ago. But, They were kids at that time and currently they are wiser and experienced. Drew McIntyre is thinking to continue this feud which they left a long back.
It's a new day. Yes it is. Drew McIntyre added another New Day member to the wishlist. Drew McIntyre stated that he would love to face the biggest guy, Big E. Drew McIntyre said that he would be excited to work with Big E. McIntyre believes that Big E is the strongest in the division who never had a championship opportunity. Drew McIntyre loves to overcome new challenges and Big E is the one.
As earlier stated, Drew McIntyre loves to face the Viper Randy Orton. Randy Orton is in a berserk mood and he recently defeated Edge at Backlash and demolished Christian on following Raw.
Drew McIntyre praised the Viper for his impressive performance at Backlash and added that Randy Orton is also good and making promos. The 13 time old champion recently stated that he doesn't need a championship to prove that he is the best. But, Edge is currently not available and making a feud with Drew McIntyre would be awesome for the Viper.
Then, Drew McIntyre named the creator of the Yes movement. Drew McIntyre said that he and Daniel Bryan had two only matches and McIntyre loves to have a third fight with Daniel Bryan. Drew McIntyre praised Bryan by saying that Bryan is on a different level. Drew McIntyre would be so excited to do something with Bryan if the opportunity is given.
McIntyre then recalled his old feud with Adam Cole. Drew McIntyre said that Adam Cole stole his moment in NXT during his debut and Drew McIntyre loves to get his hands on Cole the other day.
Drew McIntyre praised the NXT Champion and said that he is talented. Drew McIntyre then named Roderick Strong who is part of Undisputed Era along with Adam Cole. Drew McIntyre stated that Roderick Strong is one of his favourite opponents. Keeping Strong aside, Drew McIntyre wants to share the ring with the entire Undisputed Era.
Then Drew McIntyre chose some outside talents he would like to work with. The Scottish Psychopath wanted to face Tanahashi and Okada who are part of New Japan. The Chosen One also chose Will Ospreay.
Finally, The Scottish Psychopath named the Swiss Superman, Cesaro. Cesaro is no arguably the strongest man in WWE and Drew McIntyre wants to share the ring with Swiss Cyborg.
Drew McIntyre and Cesaro have never been in the ring. Drew McIntyre revealed that he and Cesaro discussed with the creative team to have a match which didn't go well. Drew McIntyre's idea is to get Cesaro in a pay-per-view in an open challenge if there is no opponent scheduled for him.
