The Rivalry between Edge and Randy Orton started at Royal Rumble where Edge eliminated the viper when Randy stacked to eliminate his best friend. Orton then brutally attacked Edge on Raw causing the last man standing match at Wrestlemania 36 where Edge stood tall using Randy's own methods.
The Rivalry continued after Money In The Bank where Randy agreed that the best man stood tall at Wrestlemania and added that the best wrestler will stand tall at a straight-up wrestling match at BackLash.
This week on Monday Night Raw, Randy gave a quick preview of WWE BackLash where he is gonna ambush on his former best friend. Randy claimed that he is the best wrestler in the world and stated that everyone thinks Ric Flair is the best and Ric thinks Randy is the best.
Two weeks ago on Raw, Edge said Randy was handed everything and didn't have passion for the business. Randy tried to counter Edge's comment on him of being a chosen one in the business and not having a passion for business. Randy said Edge is true.
After a big upset at Wrestlemania, Randy is trying to end the career of Hall of Famer permanently. The intentions are very clear by Randy Orton and it could break the odds which are in favor of Edge.
There are reports saying that Randy would pick up a victory over Edge at BackLash leading to another match, The Trilogy fight between these both superstars at survivor series are expectations of many.
Everyone at the locker room is cheering to Edge for the greatest wrestling match ever and the HeartBreak Kid broke his predictions on this at a recent episode of Monday Night Raw.
HeartBreak Kid, Shawn Micheals thinks this could be a really greatest wrestling match ever and supported Edge over Randy. Shawn Michaels also explained why he chose Edge instead of The Viper.
Shawn Michaels thinks his long time friend. Edge could make it up in the match and believes it's because of that time, wisdom, knowledge, and dare little bit of faith gives Edge the edge.
