What can we expect from a match between Sasha and Shirai this week on NXT which is officially announced

Sasha Banks and Bayley are running the business on all three brands namely Raw, NXT and Smackdown. They are saving Vince McMahon's brand in this global pandemic and they are taking challenges from all three brands.

The blueprint Sasha Banks and the SmackDown Women's champion Bayley already claimed that they are faces of the business and now they will prove it to NXT Women's champion Io Shirai.

Recently, NXT general manager William Regal announced on twitter that there would be a match between Sasha Banks and Io Shirai this week on the NXT Great American Bash.

NXT Women’s Champion Io Shirai claimed the NXT Women's Championship by defeating Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley in a triple threat match. Io Shirai, who is best friend of Raw Women's Champion Asuka, declared that NXT is hers now.

But, The Golden Role Models didn't like the bitter fact that Io Shirai is at the top of NXT. After retaining the WWE women's tag team championships by defeating Tegan Nox & Shotzi Blackheart at NXT two weeks earlier, Sasha Banks and Bayley engaged in a feud with Io Shirai.

Recently, Sasha Banks blasted Io Shirai saying that there is no NXT without Sasha Banks and Bayley. Former NXT champions boasted their accomplishments on social media and Sasha Banks laid a challenge to Io Shirai.

Recently the general manager of the black-and-gold brand announced that NXT women's champion Io Shirai will face Sasha Banks in a non-title match on NXT The Great American Bash and SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley will be by Sasha's side.

This fight will be a great challenge for Sasha Banks as she is set to face Asuka for the Raw Women's Championship at Extreme Rules. If a young talent like Io Shirai beat Sasha Banks, then it would be an easy task for Asuka at Extreme rules.

So, we can expect the match at NXT to end in a no contest or disqualification. Also, Bayley would be on the ring side cheering for her tag team partner Sasha Banks.

SmackDown Women's champion Bayley is set to defend her SmackDown Women's championship against Nikki Cross who earned the opportunity by beating Alexa Bliss, Lacey Evans and Dana Brooke in a fatal four way match.
