Jon Moxley's Fyter Fest match is at jeopardy as his wife Renee Young confirms COVID positive
Fyter Fest which is set as a two week festival will feature many blockbuster matches which include a clash between Jon Moxley and Brain Cage. AEW World Heavyweight Champion Jon Moxley is set to defend his gold against Brain Cage who recently debuted at AEW Double or Nothing.
But, The match between two best in the business may not take place as Renee Young, Jon Moxley's wife confirms COVID positive.
Recently, the WWE Backstage program was cancelled and no one knew the exact reason until Renee Young, the WWE Backstage announced that she was infected with the deadly virus.
Recently on Twitter, WWE commentator and WWE Backstage host Renee Young stated that she has tested COVID positive. Renee Young then advised people to wear their masks and to wash their hands.
Jon Moxley, AEW World Heavyweight Champion and husband of Renee Young was also out of this week's AEW Dynamite. Tony Khan, The promoter and founder of AEW recently stated that Jon Moxley has been pulled from the AEW Dynamite due to COVID-19 concerns.
Tony Khan stated that Mox came in contact with someone who had contact coronavirus which was later revealed as Renee Young.
Tony Khan praised the AEW Champion for immediately telling the truth to them which helped AEW to take care of precautionary measures. Tony Khan said that Jon Moxley protected everyone onsite like a true champion.
However, Jon Moxley's health conditions didn't hit a major impact on AEW Dynamite. The same works for Fyter Fest too. But, The condition is more serious than expected and we may not see Jon Moxley at Fyter Fest.
Brain Cage debuted at AEW Double or Nothing and won the nine-man Casino Ladder Match to earn the title shot. Later it came to notice that Brain Cage will face Jon Moxley, who successfully defended his title against Brodie Lee, at Fyter Fest.
If Jon Moxley is out of Fyter Fest, it would be a big upset to Brain Cage. But, A fighter should always support his fellow fighter outside the professional perspective.
However there is no official statement by AEW about Jon Moxley's match at Fyter Fest and this is just a reported and rumoured news.
What do you think about Jon Moxley's match at Fyter Fest? Will it happen? If it happens, Will Jon Moxley continue his dominance or will Brain Cage end the biggest streak of Mox?
