No one is begging Jorge and Jon to fight - Dana White responds to recent comments made by Masvidal

UFC is shocked by recent comments by Jorge Masvidal. Recently the Gamebred, Jorge Masvidal used twitter to express his frustrations on UFC.

For the last few weeks, Jorge Masvidal has been in notice for a title shot against UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman. However, ufc had different plans which disappointed Masvidal. Also, He didn't like the pay mechanism in the UFC.

Jorge Masvidal requested the UFC to let him go if he is not worth it. Jorge Masvidal also questioned UFC for lower pay. Jorge Masvidal claimed that his new fight negotiations are half of the previous one.

Jorge Masvidal fired on UFC not to tell him about the global pandemic when reports showed the highest stock market ever. Jorge Masvidal also fired on UFC for making silly excuses when everyone is out and working. Jorge Masvidal slammed UFC on purchasing an island but not properly paying the fighters.

Dana White seemed to be angry on this issue and he commented on the issue immediately after getting noticed. Dana White thinks everyone wants more money in this sport which is almost impossible.

Dana White recalled a specific line made by Jorge Masvidal. Jorge Masvidal mentioned that Dana White bought the island. This specific line caught the attention of the boss. Dana White yells that they never bought the island.

Dana White said that the reason they are doing the Fight Island is so that fights can go and those kids from Europe and the rest of the world can make money and can work. Dana White thinks a lot of people are really frustrated and confused.

Dana White warned every fighter. He said anybody that doesn’t want to fight doesn’t have to fight, including Masvidal and Jon Jones and all other guys.

Dana White said it doesn’t have to be because of the pandemic. He added that these guys are independent contractors. Dana White said they are not like guys of other sports. He added that they are unique and can do whatever they want unlike other spots where they get ordered and fined.

Dana White said UFC is not begging them to fight but offering a fight because the contract obligates them to do so. Dana White said they offer three fights which fighters may reject.

The Gamebred, Jorge Masvidal has not competed since his BMF title fight against Nate Diaz at UFC 244 last year. Masvidal definitely has an eye on the welterweight championship. Currently the plans are set for Kamaru Usman and Gilbert Burns.
