Urijah Faber partly supports Dominick Cruz taking a shot of Referee's decision

Dominick Cruz left the fight in Round 2 after the stoppage of the referee. Dominick Cruz suffered a thunderous knee and punches for which he fell to the ground. Dominick Cruz tried to get up after these severe hits. But, The referee stopped the match.

Actually, The match should have won by Cruz and This is a big upset for Cruz. The dominator complained about the referee post-match. Dominick Cruz fired at the referee, Keith Peterson for the stoppage and accused him claiming he smelled of alcohol and cigarettes.

Recently, Urijah Faber supported Dominick Cruz and thinks the fight should have been continued still. Urijah Faber considers that the fight was stopped early and the returning one should have given a hell amount of chance as it was a title bout.

Urijah Faber said the referees are there to do their jobs and save guys from taking too much damage in the fight. Urijah Faber also added that at the end of the day, especially in championship fights, There should be additional chances.

Urijah Faber feels like Cruz could still have had a chance and that’s always the part that irks. Urijah Faber said he could understand Cruz's frustration. Urijah Faber doubts on Keith Peterson.

Urijah Faber said The referee might have been sweating some alcohol and definitely smelling like cigarettes. But, Urijah Faber thinks Peterson was never drunk and he was just trying to look out for Dom.

Urijah Faber and Dominick Cruz were great rivals and their rivalry ended back in 2016 in a trilogy bout where Cruz settled the score with 2-1.

Dominick Cruz has unfinished business in UFC and is willing to return to capture the vacant bantamweight title.

Henry Cejudo, The opponent of Dominick Cruz for UFC 249 relinquished the bantamweight belt after his victory over Cruz. Henry Cejudo is one of the two persons two defend two titles sharing the record with Daniel Cormier.
