In a recent interview on After the Bell podcast, Hosted by Corey Graves, Seth Rollins fired back on Jim Cornette’s stupid comments.
Seth Rollins told it hurts his feelings on a personal level, because Jim Cornette is someone who is a legend in the wrestling industry, and Jim is someone Seth has personally worked within Ring of Honor.
The Monday Night Messiah said fired back on Jim and said it caught him off guard and when a really unrespectable person come out and say some real negative things and some real misogynist things about women in general, and pregnancy in the industry. Seth Rollins said he lost respect to Jim which everyone has already done.
Seth said many people started to disrespect Jim and he was thinking that he and Jim have still a personal connection that was broken with these misogynist comments. Seth thought Jim would think twice before commenting on women, on his wife which he didn't.
For Jim Cornette money may be more than motherhood and love. But, It's not for everyone. Jim, A man who lost respect by wrestling fans particularly mentioned a line that caught Seth Rollins' attention.
Jim commented on Becky Lynch for getting pregnant while missing a huge amount from WWE and also added that she’s got years before the “Easy-Bake Oven gets shut off". Seth commented on it.
Seth Rollins said It’s just so disgusting and the more he sat and thought about it and talked about it, he knew they had this appearance coming up and they were gonna have this conversation, he wanted to address it just because he wants to make it very clear that this is something that he is so proud of his fiancee of what she is doing.
Becky Lynch announced her pregnancy and added that her priorities may change after bringing a baby into the world.
Seth said the courage that it takes for her at this point in her career to make a decision. Seth said that Becky is thirty-three-years-old and once you hit thirty-five you start running risks with these pregnancies, so she made an incredibly tough decision.
Seth Rollins said Becky went out there on national television and had to say things the way she wanted to do. Seth said the fact of the matter is she is the most talented woman he has ever seen in his entire life.
Seth said Becky's gonna be just fine being pregnant, making money, doing alright. Seth added everything that Jim Cornette said is complete nonsense, not just for her but for women all around the globe.
