Khabib and Gaethje destined to happen at Fight Island

The return of octagon was stunned with the performance of Tony Ferguson and Justin Gaethje. The Highlight, Justin Gaethje defeated Tony Ferguson to win the interim lightweight championship. Justin Gaethje is now scheduled to face the eagle, khabib for the unifier bout.

Dana White, The president of UFC is hoping to make this fight at the new fight island. According to Dana White, UFC is eyeing to make this fight at fight island this summer.

Dana White expects to see this fight this summer when Khabib shows up. Dana White said he doesn’t know if it will be the first one, but said the unifier will be at the fight island unless surprisingly the world recovers faster than he thinks.

Khabib Nurmagomedov was scheduled to fight Tony Ferguson at UFC 249 on April 18 which was scrapped due to travel restrictions on Khabib Nurmagomedov. Later, Tony's dreams were cancelled by Justin Gaethje on May 9.

As far as fight island, Dana White said it would be ready by May. In a recent interview, Dana White said the fight island is almost ready and only some interior work is pending which would be done by May. Dana White said he would allow few other promotions in fight island.

It was recently announced by Connor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov that they would return the octagon in July.

Khabib Nurmagomedov used Instagram to say his opinion, Khabib Nurmagomedov said Once Ramadan has ended, He would be ready to fight at July and also said it's Corona time and if it's over then it will be Khabib's time and he warned everyone that he will smash them all

Connor McGregor also stated his octagon return. McGregor said on Twitter that he would return in July and demolish everyone in the lightweight division and once if it's over, He stated he would move to the welterweight.

Recently, Connor McGregor roasted top lightweight contenders on Twitter. McGregor said to Gaethje that defeating Khabib is an easy task and if it's over, Then, Connor would enter the scene.

McGregor also stated that in his opinion, Tony and Dustin would face for the number one contender for the lightweight championship. This is just in viewpoint of McGregor and we may see something unique by Dana White.
