Khabib vs Ferguson scheduled to July?

UFC 249 is almost days away and the octagon is back with a fire cracking main events. Tony Ferguson vs Justin Gaethje, Henry Cejudo vs Dominick Cruz, It will be no blink fights and every moment is very critical to pause. The winner of the main event will face khabib Nurmagomedov for the lightweight championship. Recently the eagle announced his return and we may expect him sooner than we thought.

Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson was the original main event for UFC 249 which was scrapped when Khabib Nurmagomedov was unable to get into America. Khabib Nurmagomedov was struck in Russia which forced him to leave the match, making way to Tony Ferguson and Justin Gaethje on May 9.

For the fifth time the match between this guys was scrapped and we couldn't point out anyone. Dana White, the president of UFC also declared that its the toughest match card to make. Recently in the conference of UFC 249, Justin Gaethje and Tony Ferguson raised their voice against Khabib Nurmagomedov. Tony Ferguson expressed his distress while Justin Gaethje raised his voice against champion's absence.

The main event between Tony and Gaethje is in favour of Ferguson. So, We expected to see Ferguson and Khabib in far future. A few weeks earlier, it was rumoured that the eagle will be returning in September to hunt his prey. But, Dana White said this may take a long time like October or November. Many people are forecasting the retirement of Khabib which won't happen.

Recently Khabib Nurmagomedov changed the plan and he seems to be ready to fight in July after Ramadan completes. Khabib Nurmagomedov recently said on Instagram that he is ready to fight anyone as Ramadan will end on May 23. Khabib Nurmagomedov said he is going to be ready in July and asked everyone to stop talking about him. Khabib Nurmagomedov warned everyone that it's corona time and when khabib time comes, He is ready to smash all of his opponents.

If Ferguson gets the victory over Gaethje and khabib is ready for July, We may see this long-awaited match very soon than expected. the only question is does any force stop this match? Khabib Nurmagomedov is training all time to take down any possible opponents so is the case of Tony Ferguson.
