Khabib Nurmagomedov's family affected with COVID-19

• Earlier, It came to know that Khabib's father is not in good condition and reported that he is in a coma. 
• Khabib Nurmagomedov, The UFC lightweight champion recently revealed that COVID-19 has severely impacted their family which is the root cause for his father's health.

Recently, It was reported that Khabib's father, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov has woke up from medically induced coma after complications from pneumonia which led to heart surgery.

Dana White, The president of UFC confirmed the severity of the situation and prayed God for Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov's speedy recovery. Connor McGregor, One of the biggest rivals to Khabib also joined his part to support Khabib and his family.

Recently, The UFC lightweight champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov revealed that COVID-19 has impacted his family severely which is also responsible for his father’s health condition.

Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov is in a bad condition and recently Khabib used Instagram to give an update on his father's condition.

Khabib Nurmagomedov on Instagram said more than 20 of his close relatives have suffered from coronavirus and also had to stay in intensive care. Khabib said few of them lost their lives in this battle.

Khabib Nurmagomedov then revealed about his father's condition by saying that there’s been a lot of support from the world for his father. Khabib said his father is still at the hospital and still going through the disease.

Khabib revealed that the heart complication to his father raised due to COVID-19 and his condition is still serious. Khabib prayed to Allah to keep his father safe.

Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov previously had heart surgery and this is the second one.

After providing the update, Khabib also requested Dagestani people to stay home as COVID-19 is not slowing the pace

Regarding Khabib Nurmagomedov's fighting career, He was scheduled to face Tony Ferguson at UFC 249 on April 18 which was scrapped and Gaethje replaced Khabib for a fight on May 9.

Justin Gaethje defeated Tony Ferguson to gain the interim lightweight championship and he is reported to face Khabib Nurmagomedov for the unifier bout in September which may probably take place at fight island.
