DC is ready to fight Ngannou if UFC heavyweight title goes vacant

Currently, UFC'S heavyweight division is troubled up with some uncertainties. Originally, There was a plan for Daniel Cormier to take down Stipe Miocic in a trilogy match which couldn't happen due to the obligations of Stipe Miocic. Dana White, The UFC president already expressed his frustration on the champion.

Stipe Miocic, The current UFC heavyweight champion also performs for firefighter and works with a paramedic in Ohio. Stipe Miocic announced long back that he couldn't compete until August due to his first responder obligations and the so-called fact of a global shutdown which forced many gyms to be closed. Dana White was not happy with Miocic and said UFC have to continue with other options if Miocic can’t meet his timeline.

Stipe Miocic was last seen in the octagon during his fight with DC last year in August. He defeated DC to capture the UFC heavyweight championship and didn't defend it since then. If it continues then, Stipe Miocic will be forced to relinquish the title and we may see an opening to DC vs Francis Ngannou for the vacant heavyweight championship.

The predator Francis Ngannou made eight of his victories in the first round and recently he boosted his confidence after defeating the undefeated, Jairzinho Rozenstruik at UFC 249. The Predator finished Rozenstruik in just 20 seconds giving four consecutive wins in his resume. All of those fights were less than ninety seconds making him the first choice if Stipe Miocic is forced to relinquish the title.

Daniel Cormier, Former UFC heavyweight champion and light-heavyweight champion is not backing up to fight the predator, Francis Ngannou. DC is ready to face the big monster in his path to capture the title. DC is not afraid of Francis Ngannou and he’s ready to fight him if it is needed. Daniel Cormier said he would be ready to face the predator if the title becomes vacant.

Daniel Cormier at UFC 249 post-fight show said if Miocic is not ready, Ngannou has earned a title shot. DC dared to fight the predator and said if somebody is going to fight Ngannou, It would be him. DC said he is not afraid of anyone and literally ready to fight anyone in the world.

Daniel Cormier said he loves Ngannou and thinks he is a sweetheart person. Daniel Cormier said he would love to do a trilogy fight with Stipe Miocic, but if Stipe won’t fight, they’re going to take the belt from him just like Henry Cejudo gave up his title and they are going to make a fight between Francis and Daniel for the belt.

Dana White spoke about this fight. White said UFC team is going to figure out Stipe vs. Cormier thing or end with Francis. Daniel warned Ngannou this fight is like a double-edged sword. He said the smartest way to fight Ngannou is taking him over and over again. DC said he would probably wrestle him the whole time until he submits Ngannou.
