Matt Hardy is too old for wrestling
Matt Hardy is an all-time tag team champion along with his brother Jeff Hardy. He also performs singles by his broken and woken gimmicks. Fans reaction when hardy Boyz entered Wrestlemania 33 is wonderful. He later had a feud with Bray Wyatt. Later they became good friends and tag team, partners.
Why did WWE do this? Is it because WWE didn't like Matt hardy or his time ended in WWE or Did Matt hardy become rusty for wrestling? The answer seems to be the last one. Matt Hardy became old and rusty. He couldn't make it even with opponents like b-team. So WWE thought it's better to keep him aside.
The last time we saw Matt Hardy is while taking small players, Cutting some small backstage promos, Taking beatdowns by kind of small opponents, ambushed by rowan, randy et cetera. Did WWE do this or Matt was unable to take small opponents? The answer is Matt couldn't take them out. It's the retiring age for him and he must retire.
WWE gave the best opportunity to Matt during his departure. They gave him an opportunity to take Randy Orton twice. But Matt didn't utilize it and laid waste twice. He used his social media account saying, He would like to sign for NXT OR AEW. Matt can't say directly to authority that he will exit the company, right? But WWE already knew it.
Matt Hardy had cut a promo in the climax of last week on AEW dynamite. When Chris Jericho said the inner circle has five members and the elite has only four, a drone named Vanguard appeared revealing Matt Hardy at the top of the viewers' spot. Matt yells DELETE, DELETE…..
Chris Jericho comes to the ring to settle with Matt Hardy. Jericho grabs the camera from the cameraman and watches him sing Jericho's song. Jericho rewind Matt Hardy joining The Elite, calling them "arrogant sons of bitches." ( Only Chris jericho is striving for business.)
Jericho said he'll give hardy a chance to make the right decision, that is to join the Inner Circle. Vanguard comes near Jericho. Jericho says he doesn't like Vanguard. He says it as a piece of shit and later says he respects Vanguard and asks Vanguard to join the Inner Circle. (Jericho said it for generating humour. Jericho knows everything.) Jericho smiles. Vanguard flies. Jericho yells at it.
Matt's music hits and he is in the top of the viewers seat. The camera blips and he's in the middle row, then the lower part.Matt then appears near the barricade.
Matt says Jericho may know his vessel, but he is Damascus and is 3,000 years old.(pure lie. There is no such thing. Just to wonder the audience they made this). Jericho replied beautifully by saying so you are too old so you may be wise. So you can know which team you should join. ( this is not planned and you can see the surprise in the face of Matt). Jericho said that Matt will always live in shadows like the shadow of his brother, the shadow of bad booking. The shadow of the inner circle. Matt then argues with Jericho. Jericho asks one last time whether Matt is with The Elite or Inner Circle? Matt shouts DELETE. Same for two times. ( Remember, this is just for hype only)
Jericho says that's not what he asked and wants an answer. Matt yells "Delete".Jericho tells him to stop because nobody is here to hear his stupid chant. Matt then says there are essences all over here. Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King, and Maxmillan are in the ring.( don't believe this. Matt hardy is only a machine to promote AEW. He can't even defend himself) Matt has a song for Jericho and sings Jeff Hardy's "Obsolete" song.
Jericho takes his glasses off, says he doesn't see anything but a broken-down old Matt Hardy. He slaps Matt and Matt slaps Jericho back ( at least he can do this) and le champion falls down. Jericho says he too knows magic and chants abracadabra and Guevara shows up and attacks from the back. ( Matt again couldn't defend himself. If he lays waste to the inner circle then fans would be disappointed so Cody and omega shows up). They beat the inner circle with steel chairs. ( It took nearly 3 minutes for Matt Hardy to get up in his ring debut) ( Kenny and Cody check him) Matt again yells DELETE and fire comes from ringside. ( firesetters are already set).
Seriously, within 2 weeks of dynamite, AEW came to know that Matt is too old for wrestling. He can't defend himself. Matt is just for hype. He can't win over main roster superstars like Jericho, Hagger, Mox et cetera. And he can try to fight young stars like Allin, Guevara, MJF. Even though there is no use guarantee that he will win.

How is it done?
This is done by turning the camera off and on)( AEW is using no live audience to it's an advantage. As there is no audience they can cut a promo easily. They did it in Matt's case. They turn off the camera when Matt comes to the middle part and then turn it on and so on. This is not magic. When there are the audience, superstars lay under the ring and light goes off and the superstar appears. Remember undertaker, Kane, Bray Wyatt doing this often?Matt is unable to defend himself.
