UFC on ESPN : Kattar vs Ige Predictions

Calvin Kattar vs Dan Ige

The main event of UFC Fight Night 172 will feature a featherweight bout between Calvin Kattar and Dan Ige.

The Boston Finisher is coming off with a much deserved victory against Jeremy Stephens at UFC 249. While Dan Ige is on a high level with his six-fight win streak. Dynamite's recent victory came in the form of Edson Barboza.

Both these featherweight contenders are badly aiming to win this match to compete in the title race. The tenth ranked contender is more likely to win this fight. But, Calvin Kattar also has some high profiles in his resume which makes him a dangerous opponent.

Regarding the fight, Calvin Kattar has more chances to land punches on his opponent which may give him a victory he wants. But, A miracle too may happen in this fight.

Winner : Calvin Kattar

Tim Elliott vs Ryan Benoit

The co-headliner of UFC on ESPN : Kattar vs Ige will be featured by a flyweight fight between Tim Elliott and Ryan Benoit.

Tim Elliott is in one of his worst situations with three consecutive losses Brandon Royval, Askar Askarov, and Deiveson Figueiredo. Ryan Benoit is also facing some ups and downs in his professional career. His recent loss was against Alateng Heili.

The 5'7" favourite may not be the height advantage against Ryan Benoit but luck matters the most. Last time Elliott overcame his three consecutive losses with three surprising victories. History may repeat itself this time.

Winner : Tim Elliott

Jimmie Rivera vs Cody Stamann

At Yas Island, Jimmie Rivera and Cody Stamann are set to collide in a featherweight bout.

Jimmie Rivera will make a debut in the featherweight bout after his back-to-back slopes in the bantamweight division. Jimmie Rivera did his best in his recent fights even though it was a disappointment. His recent loss came against the newly crowned bantamweight champion Petr Yan.

On the other hand, The spartan settled in the featherweight division with his win against Brian Kelleher. But, This won't help him to take on the El Terror.

Winner : Jimmie Rivera

Molly McCann vs Taila Santos

In the women's flyweight bout, Molly "The MeatBall" McCann will take on Taila Santos. Molly McCann is aiming to improve her stats and facing someone who is as good as her will be a challenging task.
