Is Rey Mysterio really retiring?

It was recently announced that the legendary Rey Mysterio is going to retire on next week's Monday Night Raw. WWE announced that there will be a retirement ceremony for Rey Mysterio. But, Is Rey Mysterio really retiring, or Is this a promo of Seth Rollins?

Probably, Rey Mysterio is not going to retire this earlier. The contract of Rey Mysterio is soon to expire. But, It is expected that Rey Mysterio will be signing a new contract with WWE.

Rey Mysterio already mentioned many times that he wouldn't leave WWE until his son Dominick Mysterio completely becomes a professional wrestler and performs for WWE.

It is reported that Dominick Mysterio is currently a trainee at the WWE performance center and sooner would become a part of the NXT roster.

Dominick Mysterio was first and last seen in the ring when Rey Mysterio battled Brock Lesnar in an unsuccessful attempt to capture the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Dominick Mysterio helped his father in that match.

Then why did WWE announce that there would be a retirement ceremony for Rey Mysterio? It's a segment of Monday Night Messiah, Seth Rollins.

Seth Rollins attacked Rey Mysterio viciously on the May 11 edition of Monday Night Raw and poked his eye to the steel steps. The retirement ceremony may be a continuation of that segment and Seth Rollins is trying to mentally collapse Rey Mysterio.

WWE announced on Twitter that Seth Rollins is the host of the ceremony and it is also uncertain whether Rey Mysterio will appear at this ceremony (Definitely he wouldn't appear)

There might be only three members appearing at this ceremony namely Seth Rollins and his disciples, Buddy Murphy and Austin Theory.

Aleister Black may spoil this party as he is scheduled to face Seth Rollins next week on Raw. The feud between Black and Rollins started when Black denied to become the disciple of Monday Night Messiah.

This feud powered up when Aleister Black attacked Buddy Murphy when Seth Rollins attacked Rey Mysterio. This rivalry may end up at WWE Backlash when Seth Rollins and Aleister Black squares off for one more time.
