Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov reported to have woken up from coma

Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, The father and coach of reigning UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov was reported to have woken up from coma in Moscow hospital.

Earlier, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, who successfully trained Khabib Nurmagomedov throughout his career was reported to have gone out from his home country of Dagestan to a special military hospital in Moscow after severe complications from pneumonia. Many Reports stated that he was in coma.

Dana White, The president of UFC, recently stated about the health of 57 years old, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov.

Dana White in a recent statement stated that Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov is a true martial artist who lives a life of pride, honour and respect. Dana White said Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov has instilled those same values in his son, Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Dana White said Khabib Nurmagomedov learned a lot from his father from childhood and Khabib was always in his corner throughout his career. Dana White knows how close these guys were. Dana White said he knows how close Khabib is with his father and Dana also added that he was saddened to hear about his current state.

Dana White passed his wishes Nurmagomedov's family and said his thoughts are with Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov and with Nurmagomedov's family as Abdulmanap continues to fight in this tough situation.

In a recent report, It was stated that Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov has woken up from the coma and is in a conscious state which is yet to be confirmed.

The situations are busted up to Khabib and this situation might go against Khabib's MMA career. But, Dana White is confident that Khabib would be there by September to face the Highlight, Justin Gaehje in the unifier bout.

If Khabib and Gaethje get delayed, Dana White may end up with Justin Gaethje vs Connor McGregor for the interim lightweight championship and may expect Khabib to face the winner of this fight.

Talking about the Notorious, Connor McGregor also prayed for Khabib Nurmagomedov and his family. Connor McGregor on Twitter stated that he is praying for the speedy recovery of Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov. McGregor said Abdulmanap is a man responsible for more World champions, across multiple fighting disciplines, than we even know.

McGregor said on Twitter that Abdulmanap is a true martial genius. McGregor said he was very saddened upon hearing this news. McGregor said he is praying for the Nurmagomedov's family at this time.
