Three Guaranteed UFC fights after May

This is really a bad year for the UFC. But, UFC has bounced back and started to hit the fences. Dana White earlier announced that there will be four events in May including UFC 249. What's planned after that? Are there any fights scheduled after May. There are three matches planned after May which is a hundred percent guarantee. They are Cody Garbrandt and Raphael Assuncao, Amanda Nunes, and Felicia Spencer, Khabib Nurmagomedov vs winner of UFC 249 main event.

Cody Garbrandt versus Raphael Assuncao

Cody Garbrandt, Former UFC bantamweight champion and the first and only fighter to defeat Dominick Cruz in UFC is scheduled to fight Raphael Assuncao in June. Cody Garbrandt had a good career in MMA and UFC. But, later he consequently lost three matches to T.J. Dillashaw and Pedro Munhoz at UFC 217, UFC 227 and UFC 235 respectively which forced him to leave the UFC for almost a year

Former UFC champion, Cody Garbrandt will make his final bantamweight stop against Raphael Assuncao in June. Raphael Assuncao is a Brazilian fighter who currently competes in the Bantamweight division of UFC. He also performed in featherweight and lightweight. Raphael Assuncao has some notable performances against the top order fighters.

This fight was originally scheduled to take place in March but later it was canceled. Now, this fight will take place on June 6 in an unnamed event. The location for this event is also not certain. Dana White announced that the fight island will be ready for June. So, we can see this match card in June along with Amanda Nunes and Felicia Spencer's match card.

The match cards are not certain and it's not officially confirmed by UFC. So, we may expect some changes to the June match cards. But, if the fight takes place, it will be very interesting because Garbrandt steps into the octagon for almost a year.

Khabib Nurmagomedov vs winner of UFC 249 main event

Also, it was announced by Dana White that the winner of Tony Ferguson and Justin Gaethje will face Khabib Nurmagomedov for the title. But, This match is not set for June. It looks like Khabib Nurmagomedov will be limited to just a single bout this year.

Khabib Nurmagomedov was originally scheduled to face Tony Ferguson at UFC 249. But, Later he was forced to withdraw from the fight due to travel issues. Later, it was announced that Tony Ferguson will face Justin Gaethje at UFC 249 which takes place on May 9.

This fight will be more interesting than expected because Dana White said that the winner of the Tony Ferguson and Justin Gaethje fight will face Khabib Nurmagomedov. He said that Tony and Gaethje fight is one of the most violent fights we will ever see. Dana White said that he guarantees that and the fight will be incredible. He said that the winner of the fight faces Khabib for the title and it's one hundred percent

Khabib earlier said that he won't be available until August. But, Dana White said that Khabib Nurmagomedov will be back in September or October.
