Drew McIntyre slams Bobby Lashley after his support to Covington
Colby Covington, former interim UFC Welterweight Champion addressed his return to the wrestling industry and joining the WWE. Covington is not an unknown, he dominates his opponents in the ring and also trash talks on the mic, which he is not perfect at. For a note, he was a roommate of Jon Jones and you may imagine the rest.
Colby Covington was a high school wrestler before entering the mixed martial arts industry. Covington's wrestling dream may be fulfilled after his entry in WWE. Covington previously appeared once at Impact Wrestling with his buddies, Bobby Lashley and King Mo and had a notable performance in his match against TyQuil Woodley at WrestlePro.
Colby is very fast at the octagon and should reduce the pace of his fight to survive in wrestling. Recently Colby Covington announced that he will join the top promotion of all time, WWE, In the summer of 2021. Probably he is going to get a truck full of money.
Earlier today, Colby in an interview said that he is willing to fight current WWE champion, Drew McIntyre. Colby said that he has been practicing the moves and really working on his promo and mic skills and just controlling and slowing down the things and understanding the art of wrestling.
Colby was very confident and thinks that he can beat any man alive right now. He also thinks that he is the best in the world( Didn't mention CM Punk and Shane McMahon). So he wants to go into the wrestling industry and make wrestling real again.
He also thinks that he's going to have a good grasp of the Wrestling industry. He mentioned that he grew up as an amateur wrestler and knew how to act in the wrestling industry and sell the show. He said that everyone knows that he can entertain and is going to make a smooth transition in 2021.
He mentions the current WWE Heavyweight champion, Drew McIntyre. Drew McIntyre defeated Colby Covington's pal, the beast, Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania to win the shot.
Colby Covington said that he and Drew McIntyre will be a good match up. He comments on McIntyre saying that he is a big guy and that doesn't matter. He said that it's not the size of a dog in a fight, it's the size of the fight in a dog. People know that Colby has a great size of fight.
Drew McIntyre reacted to that. McIntyre said on twitter that he was surprised that Colby is still running his mouth after his loss against Kamaru Usman at UFC 245.
